Former Chairman Sindh Bar Councils Human Rights Committee and President Lawyers Committee for Human Rights Aqil Lodhi advocate said on Tuesday that we are still living in the laws left behind by the British Empire. This he said while addressing a seminar at International Law Research Bureau.

He said, We have caused disturbances in these laws instead of making them transparent and relief providing. Mr Lodhi said the people were in confusion because a separate court had been established in every sector of the country. Only one court in English law works and every kind of complaint is taken, he added. Aqil said the whole system in the country needed to be streamlined. He said that separate courts should be brought to an end besides raising the number of judges in the courts by 100 percent.
